Patti Boggess - Work That Matters

Patti Boggess has been a psychiatric aide at Warm Springs State Hospital for nearly two decades. When patients arrive at her unit, they are often suicidal or delusional. Patti is part of a team that provides quality, caring treatment and helps patients return to productive lives in Montana communities.

“Mental illness knows no boundaries,” says Patti. “It affects all walks of life.”

Unfortunately, state budget cuts, staff shortages, and vacancy savings threaten Patti’s ability to provide quality care to her patients -- and they create unsafe conditions for staff and patients alike.

Montana needs unsung heroes like Patti Boggess. We’re asking legislators to find the revenue to keep Patti, and other quality public employees, doing work that matters for Montana’s people.
