How to join Student MEA-MFT: There are 3 different ways you can join:
1. Click here or in the box below to sign up on-line.

2. Or you can click here for an application form. Print the form, fill it out, and mail it in with your check.

3. Or you can request an application form by e-mailing Terry Minow , Student MEA-MFT state coordinator.

What's in it for you:

Networking: Student MEA-MFT helps you tap into a professional network of educators: practicing teachers and college professors at the local, state, and national levels.

Million-dollar protection:
Many schools require you to be covered by liability insurance when you student teach.

As a member of Student MEA-MFT, you'll be covered by our million-dollar liability insurance policy every time you step into a classroom on assignment.

That includes student teaching and anything else assigned by your college. It also includes substitute teaching after you graduate, as long as you are still a member of MEA-MFT.

Helping you teach your best: Student MEA-MFT helps you become a well-informed professional teacher through top-quality workshops; conferences; publications; web sites; and the National Education Association's Professional Library -- offering the single largest source of professional materials for classroom teachers.
