Amazing member Cathy Kuntz

Cathy Kuntz of Great Falls is one of 140+ MEA-MFT members who have volunteered to act as legislative contacts during the 2009 Montana Legislature.

As a legislative contact, Cathy regularly calls, e-mails, and writes her local legislators about bills important to MEA-MFT members.

Cathy Kuntz and MEA-MFT Vice President Larry Nielsen of Helena, also a legislative contact, get ready to talk to legislators at the state capitol Feb. 20.

Along with over 100 other legislative contacts from around the state, Cathy traveled to Helena for MEA-MFT Legislative Action Days Feb. 20-21.

"It's very important that legislators hear from their local constituents, the folks who vote them into office," said MEA-MFT President Eric Feaver. "It makes all the difference."

Cathy is also chair of the MEA-MFT Republican Caucus Task Force.

Thanks, Cathy for doing Work That Matters for your students, your fellow MEA-MFT members, and Montana's people!
