$10,000 Challenge grant awarded to Montana Professional Teaching Foundation

10-29-13

Every dollar donated by individuals before the end of 2013 to the Montana Professional Teaching Foundation will be matched up to $10,000, thanks to a challenge grant made the Foundation by donors who wish to remain anonymous.

“This generous challenge grant honors Montana’s professional public school educators and the work they do every day to teach and nurture Montana’s children,” said Eric Feaver, Foundation Chair.

“Thanks to this grant, as folks consider end-of-the year, tax deductible charitable giving, they can double the impact of each dollar they donate to the Montana Professional Teaching Foundation and know that the professional development and in-classroom support the Foundation provides help make Montana’s public schools as exceptional as possible for this and future generations of Montana's school children."

The Montana Professional Teaching Foundation recently launched a campaign to help educate Montanans regarding the importance of high-quality professional teaching in Montana and the need to support teachers in their profession.
